Catholic priest enstooled Nkosuohene

Appiadu (Ash), Feb 23, GNA- The Very Rev Father Francis Boakye-Tawiah, Rector of the Saint Paul Catholic Church at Appiadu was at the weekend enstooled Nkusuohene of the town. His stool name is Nana Asante Yiadom II.

Odeefuor Owusu Amoaye, chief of the town told a durbar that the enstoolment of new chief signified peace and unity prevailing in the area.

He noted that Father Boakye-Tawiah had been able to unite the people of the town from the different political divides, religious and ethnic backgrounds through tact and diligence.

He said within the four years of service at Appiadu, Father Boakye-Tawiah had been able to rehabilitate the old and dilapidated Catholic Junior Secondary School (JSS) block.

Rev Father Boakye-Tawiah expressed his gratitude to the people of Appiadu for the honour done him and pledged to always work for the development of the community.
