Catherine Afeku supports Axim Fire Service with GHC2,100

Hon. Catherine Afeku, MP for Evalue Ajomoro Gwira and Minister of Tourism, Creative arts and culture on Friday 28th April, 2017 made a cash donation of GHC2,100 to the Fire Service department at Axim in the Nzema East Municipal of the western region.

The fire service department made a passionate appeal for financial support to fix the fire tender that has broken down for close to three weeks.

Presenting the amount to the fire service on behalf of the Hon.. Minister, The MCE nominee for Nzema East, Hon.. Frank Okpenyen reiterated the MPs commitment to the development of Evalue Ajomoro Gwira and entire Nzema.

Receiving the amount, the Acting Municipal Fire Officer ADO Seth Tay thanked the Hon. Minister for coming to their aid and pledged that the money would be used for the purpose for which it was presented.

At the presentation were Mr Charles Erzoah Assistant Secretary for NPP Evalue Ajomoro Gwira constituency, Mr Eric Jim Research and Elections for Evalue Ajomoro Gwira, Mr Amoah Campaign member, Sarfo Hayford Communication Director for Evalue Ajomoro Gwira, Operation officer P. K. Osabutey and Administrator, Joseph Menlawiah.
