Kufuor, is in a smelly heap of some ¢29 billion financial trouble having been accused of shortchanging close to 800 Security officers, who soldiered for the eight years that the NPP was in power.

For his troubles Nana Bediako was locked up at the BNI cells in Accra, and has since been forced to return some ¢13 billion (from the largesse which should have been paid as gratuity to the Policemen). He is alleged to have used the cash in opening bank accounts in the name of his children.

THE SUN have established Nana Bediako, shared some of the money with the twin security gentlemen of Chief Inspector Boadu who has since fled to cool of in London with his wife, and DSP Amankwaa who was actually third in command at the Castle security .

Senior officers were supposed to have benefitted by a booty of ¢23,000 for eight years service but some actually picked a feeble ¢10,000 while junior officers were paid some ¢5,000.

It will be recalled that Nana Bediako took over from DSP Timbillah as the head of President Kufuor’s Castle Security.
