Cartoon: The tale of a snubbed attention-seeking mayor

Former President Rawlings has demonstrated that he isn’t only a man of words but of action.

This emerged after a video went viral on Thursday in which he seen literarily ‘driving away’ from his side a member of the NDC government that was heavily defeated in the 2016 general election who tried to come close to him whilst climbing the stairs into parliament house.

Rawlings, who is also the founder of the NDC, has been enraged about what he describes as the shift from the ideals of Probity, accountability and transparency that formed the basis of the NDC.

The member in question, Mayor of Accra, could be seen sheepishly walking away after the incident.

Many drawings and cartoons making a mockery of the incident have come up after the video went viral on Thursday.
