Government’s reinstatement of the withdrawn allowances for trainee nurses is today featured in today’s cartoon of the day.
The government had earlier argued that the policy to pay allowance to trainee nurses had outlived its usefulness having been introduced some years ago to encourage students to pursue certain course at the tertiary level that hitherto did not get much attention.
