Carpenter Defiles Class Four Pupil

Hohoe, April 14, GNA – A 24-year-old capenter, Mawuli Agbenya of Hohoe, has been remanded in prison custody for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old class four pupil by a Hohoe Circuit court. He pleaded not guilty to defiling a minor and will re-appear on May 10= ..

Superintend of Police Benjamin Dadzie, told the court that he lured the victim into an uncompleted building under the pretext of giving her a gift and defiled her.

Mr Dadzie said the accused told the victim not to mention the act to anyone but her foster mother noticed a change in her walking on March 15 and questioned her.

The victim mentioned the accused person and a report was made to the police and he was arrested. 14 April 11
