Care-giver wanted by Police for swindling orphanage

Kingsford Baidoo, 24, native of Abura Dankwa in the Central Region is wanted by the Police for stealing an amount of 3,440.00 Ghana cedis meant for the payment of school fees of orphans.

The Kasoa New Market Police Post said the complainant, Pastor Paul Kweku Addei, Administrator of Good Shepherd Orphanage at Odupong Ofaakor Bohye Asaseso, while Kingsford Baidoo, now at large, was a care-giver at the Home.

The Police said on January 21, Baidoo was given an amount of 2,900.00 Ghana cedis to purchase bankers’ draft for payment of school fees of orphans in the Home.

They said the complainant claimed an amount of 540.00 Ghana cedis was already in the possession of Baidoo for the children and this in addition to other payments totaling 3,440.00 Ghana cedis.

They said all efforts to trace Baidoo had proved futile hence the use of the media, and appealed to all with information about the whereabouts of Baidoo, to report to the nearest Police Station or Administrator of the Orphanage on 0244424741 for a reward.
