Cardiothoracic Centre understaffed.

Twenty-two patients have undergone successful heart surgery at the Cardio-Thoracic Centre at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra since its establishment in 1991. The Director of the Centre Dr Kwabena Frempong-Boateng said in Kumasi that some of them were operated free of charge while others paid about 50 per cent of the cost.
