Car skids off the road, kills one and injures four

Hohoe, Nov 5, GNA- A 51-year-old farmer of Gbi-Wegbe last Monday died on the spot and four others including an eight-month-old baby were injured when a land rover skidded off the road at Gbi-Wegbe and hit them.

Tumawu Atsupui died while Tsati Veronica and her eight-month-old child, Fabian Ackah, are responding to treatment at the Hohoe Government Hospital.

Innocent Botwe, a driver of the Volta Regional Hospital, is receiving treatment at the Regional Hospital while Beatrice Atuwu has been treated and discharged.

According to a Police source the vehicle belonging to the Geological Survey Department in Ho and driven by Bartholomew Komla Gbotor, 54, was returning from a funeral at Fodome-Amle when the accident occurred. 05 Nov 03
