Cape Coast University closed down.

The University of Cape Coast has been closed down. A statement issued by the Executive Committee of the Academic Board directed all students to vacate campus. The University has become a casualty of the worsening water situation in the Central region, which has led to the closure of several second cycle schools. The current situation is as a result of low levels of water in rivers that serve head works of the Ghana Water Sewerage Corporation.
