Cape Coast Catholic Archdiocese offers prayers for the nation

Ajumako Bisease (C/R), Sept. 26, GNA – The Cape Coast Archdiocese of the Catholic Church, under the auspices of His Eminence Cardinal Peter Appiah Turkson, and his auxiliary Bishop, Most Reverend Mathias Nketsia, is organising a 7-day prayer crusade at Ajumako Bisease in the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District of the Central Region. The Crusade, dubbed “Transformation 2008”, is under the theme: “Stay with us” (Luke 24 verse 29). It is being attended by over 2,000 people made up of Catholics faithful, Protestants, Pentecostals from Elmina, Cape Coast, Assin Foso, Saltpond, Swedru, Mankesim , Asikuma, Bisease, and Breman Essiam. Fourteen reverend ministers from the church, led by Very Rev. Fr. Michael Ocran, Cathedral Administrator, are offering healing and deliverance prayers, guidance and counselling at the crusade ground. Other topics being discussed include, He (Jesus) is alive, Jesus shows concern, and He (Jesus) opened the scriptures”. Rev. Fr Anthony Enyinful, Parish Priest of St Michaels Catholic Church at Bisease, said there would be special prayers on Friday, September 26 for peaceful, successful, free, and fair elections 2008. 26 Sept. 08
