Canadian organization donates to Taviepe E.P Church

African Canadian Organization Incorporated, a non-governmental organization based in Canada, has presented assorted items to the Evangelical Presbyterian E.P. Church at Taviepe-Dzefe near Ho.

The items include clothing, footwear and basketballs.

The clothing and footwear are to be given to the less privileged in the community while the basketballs are expected to help popularise the game in the farming community.

Togbe Dunyo Hodgi IV, Representative of African Canadian Organization Incorporated in Ghana who presented the items said Bator and Keta had benefited from similar projects and said some other communities in the country would soon receive hospital equipment and boreholes.

Asafoatse Akyea Howusu, an Elder of the Community who received the items, commended the Organization for the donation.

He said the presentation was timely because the less privileged in the community needed some clothing for the Christmas celebration.
