Calvary Apostolic Revival Church ordains four Ministers

The Calvary Apostolic Revival Church (CARC) has ordained four Ministers into its fold to assist in the propagation of the gospel to the world to win more souls for the Lord.

They are, Presiding Elder Henry Ashirifi Boadu, Elder Jesse Torgbor Obodai, Deacon Daniel O.Akrong and Elder Ebenezer Shamobadu.

The four, who were ordained by the General Overseer of Family Worship Center in Accra, The Rev. Larry Johnson, have served in various capacities in the Ministry, and the church has recognized their call as such.

Preaching on the theme, “My Walls Will Stand”, Chairman of CARC, The Rev. Ishmael Anum-Sai urged them to recognize the importance and place of the Holy Spirit in the Ministry because the Spirit speaks with authority.

He charged Minsters of the gospel to listen to the voice of the Spirit to avoid being seduced by mundane things which did not pertain to the Kingdom of God.

Rev. Anum-Sai observed that “if men of God allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide them in all their undertakings, hardly will they fall into temptations.”

The Chairman advised them not to be agents of confusion but remain calm within their domain of operation.”The true mark of a Minister of the gospel is his integrity, honesty and the one who acts out of a pure heart and a good conscience,” he maintained.

Rev. Anum-Sai used the occasion to denounce the twin evil of homosexuality and lesbianism and charged Minsters of the gospel to speak bluntly against the canker to avoid God’s wrath upon the nation.**
