Call For Resignation Is Unconstitutional

A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe has described as unconstitutional calls by a section of the party’s youth for the leadership of the party to resign owing to the party’s failure to annex the Odododiodio seat.

The NPP’s youth in the Odododiodio constituency accused the leadership of the party after its defeat in the recently held bye- elections, calling for some heads to roll. Speaking to Citi News the NPP fire Brand said much as he admits that they have a right to express themselves about some wrong doings in the party, the party has structures in place for channeling of grievances.

Nyaho Tamakloe who has setup a five member committee to investigate into the party’s defeat in the Odododiodio polls still insisted that the NPP should not have lost in certain areas of the constituency because they are the party’s strong holds.

He further stated that the report of the five member committee will be out by next week. Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe is a leading member of the New Patriotic Party.
