Ghanaian defender Caleb Yirenkyi has committed his future to Danish club FC Nordsjaelland after signing a new long-term contract that will keep him at the club until 2030.
The young Black Stars centre-back has been one of Nordsjaelland’s most consistent performers this season, earning praise for his composure, defensive awareness, and leadership at the back despite his age.
Club officials described the new deal as a reflection of Yirenkyi’s rapid development and importance to their long-term project. The extension is also seen as a strong statement of intent from Nordsjaelland, who continue to invest in young African talent through their partnership with Ghana’s Right to Dream Academy.
Yirenkyi, who made his senior debut for Ghana this year, expressed his delight at extending his stay, saying he feels “at home” at Nordsjaelland and is eager to keep improving.
His new contract will run until 2030, securing his place as a key figure in the club’s defensive setup for years to come.
The deal marks another milestone in Yirenkyi’s growing career and underscores the continued rise of Ghanaian players making their mark in European football.
