Takoradi, June 27, GNA – The United Cadre Front on Monday declared their total and unflinching support for President Evans Atta Mills as the rightful candidate to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in election 2012.
“We the members and the entire executives would be extremely happy to see President Mills retaining the flag-bearership of the party during the July 8, congress”.
A statement issued to the Ghana News Agency in Takoradi and signed by Mr. Kojo Bartey, Chief Cadre and Mr. Edward Koufie, Vice Chairman respectively, said 93The Cadres would have wished nobody came to contest the professor after seeing his good works, tolerance, humility and above all, God fearing nature”.
It therefore urged other interested parties in the flagbearership contest to rescind their decision and rather give the president their total support to enable the party to win the 2012 elections.
