Cadets band commissioned at Tepa

Tepa, (Ash), Dec. 17, GNA- A 35 million cedis worth of cadets band for the Tepa Secondary School Cadet Corps, has been commissioned at Tepa.

Reverend Father Michael Barimah Appau, Catholic Priest for the Tepa St. Mary’s parish who commissioned it, commended the school management for their vision in purchasing the band for the students. He called on the cadet corps and the school authority to take good care of the band.

Mr Emmanuel Kofi Osei, Headmaster of the school, said the band would serve as a good training and orientation for students who might wish to enlist in the Armed Forces.

Mr Kwame Owusu Frimpong, MP for the area commended, the school for its academic performance in the recent Senior Secondary School Certificate examination (SSSCE).

Nana Adusei Ahwerewa Ampem, Omanhene of Tepa also commended the current headmaster of the school for his immense contribution to development of the school.
