Cabinet approves conduct of public officers bill

Cabinet has approved the conduct of public officers’ bill.

The bill, among others, seeks to regulate the attitude and actions of public officials while in office.

It is also expected to harmonize the various anti corruption laws in Ghana’s public administration.

Addressing the media at the Flagstaff House on Tuesday, the deputy minister of Information and Media Relations, Felix Kwakye Ofosu said the approval of the bill is further demonstration of the president’s commitment toward fighting corruption in public administration.

“Cabinet at its last meeting approved the conduct of public officers’ bill and this bill seeks to provide coherent anti corruption legislation”.
