C.K Akunnor denies fathering Odartey Lamptey’s children

After news of his inclusion in fathering the 3 children of former captain of the Black stars Odartey Lamptey, ex-Ghanaian footballer C.K. Akunnor has debunked the news and called it falsehood.

Speaking to Kapital Radio’s Sports presenter, Benjamin Yamoah, off-air, C.K. Akunnor said he found the news very disturbing although he was not paying so much attention to it. He has therefore asked his followers, friends and family to disregard the news as there was no iota of truth in it and believed Odartey Lamptey would even laugh at the news

OK FM’s Abeiku Santana and his co-host Ohenenana Kwame Amoh on Thursday November 28th 2012 disclosed on their “Akeka akeka” segment of their drive time show that among those alleged to be the fathers of the children are ex-Black Stars skipper C.K. Akunnor and former BBA housemate, Elikem Kumordzi.

A sad development, the former Anderlecht player said he’s had reason to question the paternity of their three children.

“…I thought they were my children but upon a DNA test, I got to know that they are not my biological children,” he told Accra-based radio station, NEAT FM.

“The issue is in court so I’m pleading because it is a legal issue; I don’t want to go through so many things, but I am 100% sure that the children are not mine after 20-years.

“We had five children, but two passed away, so it is left with only 3,” he added.

Lamptey’s wife, Gloria, has since filed for divorce.

Elikem last week denied the allegation and called it illogical.
