Kumasi, Dec 31, GNA – The Kumasi Abattoir Butchers and Cattle Dealers Association on Friday commended President J.A. Kufuor and Vice President Aliu Mahama for their creditable performance during their first term in office and declared their support for them.
The association said the re-election of President Kufuor for a second term was not surprising ”as it was a reward by God for his laudable performance as president.”
This was contained in a message the association sent to President Kufuor that Mr. Baba Yakubu, the association’s chairman, signed. “Your victory in the elections was not the making of man, but a reward from the Almighty Allah for your humility, devotion and hard work”, the Association stressed.
The message said Positive Change Chapter One had borne a lot of fruits and had been of great benefit to Ghanaians and expressed the hope that Positive Change Chapter Two would yield even greater dividends.
