Businessman Praises Government for Helping Private Sector

Mr Mumuni Seidu, a businessman, has commended the government for empowering and creating opportunities for the private sector to enable it serve as the engine of growth of the economy.

He said the support being given by the government to the sector would by itself attract foreign investors into vital areas of the economy to solve the unemployment problem.

Mr Seidu, who made the commendation in an interview with the GhanaNews Agency in Takoradi, on Thursday said the private sector had a lot of potentials that could be tapped for the economic growth of the country.He, therefore, called on the sector to do its best to assist the government to achieve its vision for the country.

He also asked the sector to take advantage of these opportunities and to team up with foreign investors when necessary to revamp the economy.
