Businessman appear in court for visa fraud

Tema, Nov. 02, GNA – The Tema Circuit Court “B”, has granted a bail of 70 million cedis to a Businessman for defrauding a driver of 10 million cedis.

Richard Gudu pleaded not guilty and would reappear on November 10. Prosecuting, Police Inspector Ben Agbedanu, told the Court presided over by Mr. Stephen Teye that the accused who posed as a worker at the Passport Office in Accra, collected the money from the complainant with the assurance of acquiring a passport and a British visa for him. He said Richard was arrested from his hide out.
