Business Administrator made chief

Breman Asikuma (C/R) June 2, GNA- A 41-year old Marketing Implementer of Shell Ghana and Togo has been installed as the Paramount Chief of Breman Asikuma Traditional Area, under the stool name Amoakwa Baidoo VIII.

The Chief known in private life as Mr Michael Baidoo, succeeded his late uncle, Odeifou Amoakwa Baidoo VII, who died three years ago. Nana Baidoo, married with three children, holds a master degree in Management in Business Administration from the University of Ghana. At a ceremony at Breman Asikuma on Sunday night, Ebusuapanye Kwesi Assansi of the Asuna Royal Family at Breman Asikuma presented the chief to the people in line with customs.

He was then carried in a palanquin amidst the beating of fontomfrom drums through the principal streets of the town and later sent into confinement to be outdoored on June 8. Present at the ceremony were Okoriyaw Abonie X, Adontehene of Breman Asikuma Traditional Area and acting President of the Traditional Council, Nana Tutu Abban III, Chief of Breman Kokorsu, and Nana Afful Nyankoe II, Krontehene of the Traditional Area.
