Mother of President Mahama Hajia Mahama was yesterday laid to rest in her hometown, Busunu in the West Gonja District of the Northern Region.
The late Hajia Habiba Nnaba died on Tuesday, June 14 at the SSNIT Hospital having been sick for some time.
The casket containing the body of Hajia Abiba Nnaba, the mother of President John Dramani Mahama arrived on board an Air Force plane at Busunu, in the West Gonja District of the Northern Region for the burial ceremony Friday morning.
The Mahama family including President Mahama, Alfred Mahama, Ibrahim Mahama and the First Lady, Lordina Mahama, witnessed the burial in front of the late Hajia Abiba Nnaba’s private residence.
