Builsa North MP Donates Wheel chairs to Health Institutions.

Bolgatanga, July 19, GNA – The Member of Parliament (MP) for Builsa North, Mrs Agnes Chigabatia on Tuesday donated 10 wheel chairs valued at about 10 million cedis to four health institutions and the disable association in the Builsa district.

The items were purchased from her share of the MPs common fund. The beneficiary health institutions were the Wiaga, Fumbisi, and Chuchuliga clinics, and the maternal ward of the Sandema hospital. Each of them received one wheel chair, while the remaining six went to the disabled association.

Presenting the items, the nurse in-charge of Fumbisi clinic, Madam Margaret Bogobire, thanked Mrs. Chigabatia for the donation, describing it as timely since the institutions had no wheel chairs to facilitate their activities.

Madam Bogobire said the chairs would be used for the intended purpose.
