Bugri Naabu’s conduct primitive and sexist – CPP

A leading member of the Convection People’s Party (CPP) in the Ashanti Region, Mr. Osei Kofi Acquah has condemned what he described as the uncultured behavior of the embattled Northern Regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Daniel Bugri Naabu.

“What Bugri Naabu did was primitive and sexist everyone including NPP executives must condemn”, Mr. Osei Kofi Akwah pointed out on Ultimate FM’s Factfile.

The embattled NPP chairman recently disrupted a meeting between the Gender, Children and Social Protection Minister Madam Otiko Afisa Djaba and NPP women groups at Modern City Hotel in the region.

The chairman later explained that Hon. Otiko Afisa Djaba as NPP National Women’s Organizer did not inform him before holding the meeting with the women in the region.

But the outspoken CPP communicator has hit hard at Chairman Bugri Naabu’s justification explaining Hon. Otiko Djaba as a minister and Women Organizer of the party deserves much respect from the regional chairman.

“Bugri Naabu is just a regional chairman and his jurisdiction is only Northern Regional but Otiko Djaba as national officer of the party and minister can move to any place to work because she no jurisdiction” he explains.

Mr. Osei Kofi Acquah called on NPP executives to strip Bugri Naabu of his post as Northern Regional chairman of the party for showing gross disrespect to a national officer and a Minister of State.
