Bugri Naabu calls for tight security at Tamale rally tomorrow

All is set for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Northern regional rally tomorrow at the Tamale Jubilee Park, Organizers of the Regional rally have said.

The party’s Flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and other party bigwigs are expected to address the big event scheduled for tomorrow.

The Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP, Daniel Bugri Naabu at a Press Conference today to herald the regional rally said adequate arrangements had been made to make the event successful.

According to him, the rally set for Tuesday will disconcert their opponents- NDC ahead of the December 7 polls as it is expecting thousands of supporters from all 31 constituencies to fill the rally grounds.

He called on the security who are detailed for the programme tomorrow to be firm and keep security tight on the grounds in the event of any untoward incident.

“We are only appealing to the security who’ll be coming to maintain peace and order to be very firm because we’re sure we are not violent people; we’re aren’t going to create problems.” Mr. Naabu said.

There have been pockets of political violence soaring in some parts of the country as campaigns wind down in two weeks to elections.

Meanwhile, the International Community have railed against turmoils brewing in Ghana which is mostly caused by the two major party’s-NPP, NDC.
