Brush Your Teeth – Mayor To Taxi Drivers

The Mayor of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, Stanley Nii Adjiri Blankson has charged members or the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) to advise their drivers and mates to brush their teeth before they start business daily. He said, “Tell your drivers that they should brush their teeth before they go to work.”

The AMA boss who was meeting with members of the GPRTU and the Ghana Road Transport Coordinating Council (GRTCC) intimated that some of the drivers do not even wash down before they spark their cars. Hon. Stanley Adjiri Blankson in his usual stammer made the pronouncement on this week at the Conference Hall in Accra. The AMA boss however lamented that most taxi drivers have not embossed their taxis with the new registration numbers.

Following the Mayor’s pronouncement, the Daily Ghanaian Voice newspaper went to town to ascertain the veracity or otherwise of it and established that most drivers have developed moulds on their teeth apparently because they do not brush their teeth always.
