Sunyani, Aug 27, – Brong Ahafo Regional Hockey Team will play Accra Golden Sticks of the Ghana Commercial Bank Hockey Club in a friendly match at the Sunyani hockey pitch on Saturday, August 30. Announcing this in Sunyani today, Mr David Kwame Osei, Brong Ahafo regional hockey coach of the National Sports Council (NSC), said the match would be the last in a series of friendly encounters by the region to toughen its team in preparation towards this year’s national sports festival scheduled for Kumasi from September six to 13. He said the Brong Ahafo team for the match would be led by Kwadwo Kyere, the current national schools and colleges best hockey player while Golden Sticks would parade some of the national players including Awuku Berkoh.
