Brong ahafo NPP party communicators, members cautioned

against breach of party constitution

The Regional Secretariat of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Brong Ahafo has cautioned all its party communicators and members against flagrantly disregarding the party’s constitution on proper and decorous conduct in public especially in radio discussions and contributions. This was revealed in a news release issued by the regional secretary of the party, Mr. Alfred Ofori Annye in Sunyani and copied to Suncity Radio. The release further explained that the secretariat will not hasten to invoke the constitutional stipulations under Article seven and all other relevant provision therein to enforce discipline and generally acceptable conduct in the discharge of assigned rules and duties which included violation of the duties of a member, violent, dangerous or intimidating conduct against another member and the breach of duty to uphold publicly party policies. Others were creation of discord or factionalism within the party as well as bringing the name of the party into disrepute or public ridicule. It stated that all members of the party must comply with this directive.
