British High Commission to close visa section

Accra, Feb. 14, GNA – The British High Commission on Thursday announced that its visa section would be temporarily closed on February 21 for a staff training day.

In a statement issued in Accra by the High Commission, it said the Visa Application Centre (VFS) at Labone would, however, be open on that day to take care of all enquiries.

It said applicants who wanted to lodge an application or who were due to collect a decision on the day can visit the VSF. The statement said the Visa Section of the Commission would now accept on-line visa application for all categories of UK visas. It therefore urged all visa applicants to visit its website (www.britishhighcommission.gov.uk/ghana) for more information and guidance
