Bring the violence on – Koku Anyidoho tells NPP

Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has said his party will not engage in any act of violence but they will not watch aloof anyone who brings it on.

“We will not start any act of violence but we will match New Patriotic Party (NPP) boot for boot, should they meet us with it”, he held.

Speaking as a sole panelist on Badwam on Adom TV, Wednesday morning, the former aid to the late President Atta Mills said matching the NPP or any party that meets them with violence will be self-defense and even the constitution does not frown on that.

Anyidoho condemned violence and said it is a bane in the forward going of any nation.

He warned youth not to adhere blindly to leadership of political parties who will want them to incite violence for any reason.

According to him, that act of violence can escalate into greater chaotic scenes and result in the death of the actors, hence his reason against it.
