Brakwa (C/R), March 30, GNA – The Methodist Church, Ghana, has approved a number of infrastructure to improve conditions at the Breman Asikuma Secondary School (BASS) this year. These include the construction of a health clinic, a bungalow for the chaplain and other staff quarters at an estimated cost of millions of cedis.
The Chairman for the Board of Directors for the BASS, Bishop Jeremiah Morrison, who announced these at the just ended four-day camp meeting organised by the Winneba Diocese for Breman Asikuma circuit of the Church at Brakwa said that an appeal for funding has gone to all members of the Church throughout the country to forward their contributions to the headmistress of BASS, Miss Comfort Akomaning by July 31, this year, during the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the school.
The chairman, who had ended a PTA meeting on Saturday said that the construction of the headmistress bungalow had reached an advanced stage and that the construction of the other staff quarters would be undertaken by the PTA while the Winneba Diocese of the Church will fund the Bungalow for the chaplain. He therefore, appealed to all the members to give information to the other members of the church to contribute generously.
