Branding Ghana safe haven for homosexuality is a strategy – Foh Amoaning

Anti-gay campaigner, Moses Foh-Amoaning has described as propagandist, attempts by gay activists to brand Ghana as a haven for homosexuals.

An online hub for homosexual materials disclosed that although Ghana was not an African gay paradise, there are desperate young men who are looking for greener pastures and so willing to jump at opportunities offered by gay foreigners.

Ghana’s laws are yet to be explicit on homosexuality although the country’s culture frowns upon the practice.

However, Mr. Foh-Amoaning in an interview with XYZ News said the tag by the website must be a warning to Ghana to vigorously campaign against homosexuality.

“One of the strategies we know they have adopted is to brand Ghana as a destination for homosexuals because we are the loudest against them…so it is a strategy; we need to be careful about this kind of information”.
