A 13-year-old pupil of the Adukrom Presby M/A Primary School in the Asokore Mampong Municipality of the Ashanti region has committed suicide.
The victim, Dennis Ali was found hanging by his parents at a nearby bush at Adukrom on Thursday, July 27.
According to his classmates in the area, the deceased committed the act few hours after he returned from a vacation party better known as ‘Our Day’ at the school for the third term academic year.
His mates alleged that he was not promoted to primary five following his poor performance for the term.
Both parents have since been picked up by the Asokore Mampong Police for questioning.
