A 12-year-old boy, Obed Boateng, is feared dead following a building collapse last night at Asiakwa in the East Akyem municipality of the Eastern region.
The house reportedly crumbled when the mother of the victim was out on an errand.
The teenage victim who was rushed to the Osiem Hawa memorial hospital after the accident is reportedly battling for his life.
An eyewitness told Starr News Kojo Ansah but for the timely intervention of residents, casualties would have been bigger than recorded.
“It was good people went in early, but the truth is that it will take prayers and miracle for the boy to survive”.
