They are Kingsley Addai Poku, constituency treasurer, Nana Boakye Yiadom, New Kokobriko polling station chairman, Robert Owusu from Pramso, Agyenim Boateng from Swedru, and Kwaku Abrokwa from Kuntanase. A statement signed by Mr Atta Kwasi, constituency chairman copied to the Regional Chairman, the District Chief Executive, Council of Elders of the Bosomtwe constituency of the NPP and the MP for the area, said the decision to suspend them was taken on January 25, 2005 at a meeting of 430 executives from 86 polling stations.

The statement said the eight levelled unfounded allegations against Mr Daniel Asuo Afram, the constituency secretary and Mr Atta Kwasi with the view of tarnishing their image.

It said members present at the meeting resolved to suspend the eight in accordance with the constitution of the party, adding that, the suspended members had been served with letters.
