Bosomtwe constituency NPP congratulates President Kufuor

Kuntanase (Ash), Dec. 15, GNA – The executive of the Bosomtwe constituency of the NPP has congratulated President John Agyekum Kufuor on his re-election for another four-year term.

Mr Daniel Asuo-Afram, the constituency secretary of the party, who conveyed the message to the President o behalf of his colleagues said his re-election was ample proof of the trust Ghanaians had in him due to his dedication and commitment to the proper development of the country. Speaking at a meeting of the executive of the party at Kuntanase on Monday to review the performance of the party at last Tuesday’s polls, he mentioned good governance as one of the main reasons why the NPP was returned to power.

Mr Asuo-Afram said the economy was on the right footing, noting that, if the trend continued, the country will come out of its difficulties and be on the path to prosperity.

Mr Atta Kwasi Junior, the constituency chairman said with the election over, what was left was for Ghanaians to unite and contribute towards the total eradication of acts that could militate against the gains so far made.

He expressed his gratitude to all those, who voted massively for the NPP and President Kufuor and also commended the media for the important role it played to make sure that the election was a success.
