Boso Development Association initiate projects

Mr Kwasi Tettey-Ansah, President of Boso Development Association, has called on the citizens to foster unity to ensure the development of the town.

He said the Boso township could only be developed when the chiefs and the people unite and fight for a common goal.

Mr Tettey-Ansah made the call at a Fundraising Harvest of the association in Accra.

It was to raise funds to rehabilitate the Police Inspector’s Residence at Boso and also complete a bakery project, which had been initiated by the association.

The association, which was established in 1943, had provided the town with social amenities like police post, streetlights and re-gravelling of some roads.

Mr Tettey-Ansah invited Boso citizens living elsewhere to join the association for the rapid development of the town.

He also charged the youth to desist from alcoholism, drug-abuse and other forms of negative tendencies which may tarnish the image of the town.

An amount of GH¢6,400.00 was realised during the fundraising ceremony.
