BOPP scores 100 per cent in 2009 BECE

Benso (W/R) Dec. 21 GNA – Benso Oil Palm Plantation (BOPP) Basic School scored 100 percent in the 2009 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

Mr. Neneyo Mate-Kole, Managing Director of BOPP, told the GNA in an interview that 30 of the 57 candidates presented for the examination had aggregates ranging between 6 and 13 and that the worst aggregate was 18. He said for this excellent performance, the Company has instituted an aw= ard scheme to honour the overall best teacher as well as subject teachers. Mr Mate-Kole He expressed gratitude to the Wassa Mporhor East District Assembly and District directorate of Education for their continuous suppo= rt to the school.
