BOPP donates building materials to community

Adum Banso(W/R), April 24, GNA – The Management of Benso Oil Palm Plantation (BOPP) Limited on Monday donated building materials to Adum Banso community for the construction of teachers hostel.

The items comprising 100 bags of cement, 15 packets of roofing sheets and eight boxes of nails worth GH¢ 5,000 were presented by Mr. Mate-Kole, Managing Director of BOPP.

The donation forms part of activities marking the open day of the company. Mr. Mate-Kole said his company has plans to construct a GH¢140 KVIP for the community. The donation was made in response to an appeal made by the community to the management of BOPP.

Nana Kobena Acquah, Regent of Adum Banso thanked BOPP for the kind gesture and promised to release more land to the company for expansion.
