The Member of Parliament for Techiman South the Bono East Regional capital Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah has underscored the need to beef up security in his Constituency especially at nights therefore his resolve to light up all streets and households with free distribution of bulbs with immediate effect.

Speaking on Radio Link’s “Agoo AM” Show on Monday morning hosted by Omanpanin Papa Kwame Atoapem; Hon. Adjei-Mensah Korsah the immediate past Minister for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development noted that the Techiman City keeps developing by the day with an increasing population due to the market here therefore the need to beef up security to protect lives and properties.

He said some assembly members have already complained about darkness in their communities and it is public knowledge that most major streets in the Techiman Metropolis are marred with insecurity due to unavailability of street bulbs therefore giving pickpockets, burglars and robbers are safe haven to operate at night.
