Bonded phone thief strikes again

A Cape Coast Circuit Court on Thursday granted Joshua Agbeshie Duho, a pupil teacher, a bail of GH¢10,000.00 for allegedly stealing five mobile phones belonging to some students of Valco Hall of the University of Cape Coast.

Duho, who was bonded last year to be of good behavior for stealing mobile phones at the same place pleaded not guilty to unlawful entry and stealing and is to reappear on Tuesday June 26.

Chief Inspector Francis Ockom told the court presided over by Mrs Florence Kai Otu that on April 13, Duho broke into three rooms of the Valco hall of the University of Cape Coast and stole five mobile phones worth GH¢790.00.

He said luck however eluded him when some resident students in the same hall saw him and raised the alarm.

He said Duho was then arrested by the students and handed over to the police together with the stolen phones.**
