Bomb defused outside Ghana Embassy in Egypt

Explosive experts in Egypt Sunday defused a bomb that had been planted outside the Embassy of Ghana located on the 26th of July Corridor Street in the district of Mohandessin, west of Cairo.

According to the Egypt Independent, the explosive experts, notably called the bomb squad, were notified by civilians in the area.

Sources say the Egyptian security forces have since the ousting of the country’s former president, Mohamed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood in 2013, been battling with a string of deadly bombings.

The Muslim Brotherhood has often been blamed for this tumult which has claimed several lives and rendered others in a very devastating situation.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attempted bomb attack.
