Bolgatanga, May 19, GNA – The Bolgatanga Municipal Education Directorate at the weekend launched its maiden newsletter at a senior management team meeting in Bolgatanga. Mr Anthony Aziabah, Municipal Director of Education, commended the education board for their good work and expressed appreciation to Link Community Development, a British non-governmental organisation for sponsoring the newsletter.
Mr Aziabah said educational issues would now be published for stakeholders to know the successes and challenges within the sector. He urged school authorities, pupils, civil servants and the public to contribute articles to the newsletter to enhance effective teaching and learning.
Mr Aziabah said 400 copies of the newsletter were distributed to basic schools within the municipality free of charge. 19 May 06
