Bolgatanga local branch of GPRTU elects officers

Bolgatanga, July 15, GNA – The Bolgatanga local branch of Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) at the weekend elected a five-member executive committee to steer affairs for the next four years.

They were Mr Roland Ayamga Atule, Chairman, Mr Sunday Azeika, Vice Chairman, Mr Akake Nsobila, Secretary, Mr Albert Asa, First Trustee and Mr Apana Adongo, Second Trustee.

Mr Godfred Abulbire, Upper East Regional Chairman of GPRTU swearing in the executives, urged them to work hard to accelerate the development of the union and justify the confidence reposed in them. “It is incumbent on you as leaders of the union to contribute positively to its development to justify your election,” he added. Mr Atule expressed appreciation to the members for the confidence reposed in them and pledged to work to improve the status of the union. He appealed to the members for their co-operation to enable them discharge their duties efficiently and effectively.
