Bolgatanga livestock farmers elect leaders

Bolgatanga, Jan. 12, GNA – The Bolgatanga Livestock Farmers Association held a meeting at the weekend to elect its executive to steer the affairs of the group for a two-year term.

Members elected Mr Robert Abiiro Anyema as Chairman, Mr Ayamga Anonye, Vice Chairman and Mr Stephen Awinmakiya as Secretary. Madam Grace Yinmaldug was elected Treasurer to be assisted by Mr Adaabre Ayimbire.

The others were, Mr Roland Alebna Ndaa, Organizing Secretary and Mr Ben Asuah Assistant Organising Secretary.

Officials of the Electoral Commission supervised the elections. Mr Rashiid Salifu, who conducted the election, commended members of the association for exhibiting maturity during the exercise. The chairman-elect thanked members for the confidence reposed in the new executive, and gave the assurance that the team would work tirelessly to ensure that the association realises its developmental goals.
