Bolgatanga Electoral Commission Releases Results

Bolgatanga, Oct. 2, GNA – Official results of the District Assembly election in the Bolgatanga Municipality have been released. At Soe-Yipala, Mr Ayimbire Agana, a teacher polled 1,325 votes as against 1,088 to beat the incumbent, Madam Agnes Atayila. At Dorongu, Mr Amiyure Atura won with 576 votes as against 196 votes by one Mr Anaba Amalga.

Mr Nsobila Ayolka emerged as the winner of the Tanzui electoral area with 741 votes to beat Mr Atinga Sampson, who got 505 votes. At Dapotondongo, Madam Sophia Kumdah, got 629 votes to narrowly beat her opponent, Mr Apana Atia who had 620. At Dagmeu, Mr Sampson Ayita, got 727 votes to beat Mr Issifu Mumuni, who got 582 ballots.

Mr Apana Fredrick won the Atulibabisi slot with 913 votes as against 713 votes by Mr Anaba Emmanuel. The Regional EC is still collating results for other districts in the region.
