Bolgatanga Central NDC elects new executives

Bolgatanga, Oct. 20, GNA – Bolgatanga Central constituency branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has elected a 14-member Youth Executive to help the party to capture power in 2008. The members were all elected unopposed with Mr Abudulai Salifu, a 26-year-old teacher as Secretary.

The Constituency Chairman, Mr Epsona Ayamga implored the new executives and supporters of the main opposition party to form a formidable front to start the campaign to recapture political power. “Time waits for no man,” he said.

He expressed concern about the hardships Ghanaians were facing under the New Patriotic Party and expressed optimism that the NDC would come to power in 2008 to redeem Ghanaians from their plight. The Upper East Regional Youth Organiser, John Tingrug, who swore in the executive, urged them to work assiduously for the party to return to power.
