Bolganaba installs Kusasi community chief in Bolga.

Bolgatanga, March 23, GNA- Mallam Musah Atirago, a retired VRA worker has been install as the chief of the Kusasi community in Bolgatanga.

Bolga-Naba Martin Abilba III, who performed the installation ceremony, urged the new chief to be patient with his people, saying, patience is a necessary virtue of chieftaincy.

He advised him to serve as a unifying force between those in Bolga and at home.

He also advised the Kusasi community to be law abiding and help the chief in his day-to-day duties.

The Upper East Regional Minister, Mr. Mahami Salifu, a citizen of the Kusasi area was thankful that the community now has a chief that can direct and protect the interest of the community away from home. He advised members of the community to be each another’s keeper and unite with other ethnic groups to bring about peace and development in the Bawku area.

Mallam Atirago pledged to exercise his duties as a community chief diligently, faithfully and with integrity and to ensure that Kusasis will unite with all for development.

He appealed to members of the community to register their names to enable them to exercise their right to vote for the party and candidate of their choice during the impending elections.
